Guardian Care Nursing & Rehabilitation Center

Established in 1968, Guardian Care Nursing and Rehab Center is a nonprofit corporation. It is a 120-bed facility and employs more than 170 people. The center is spread over an area of more than five acres and consists of dining rooms, housing accommodation and a business office. It operates through more than 10 departments. Its nutrition service department provides therapeutic and texture-modified diets and serves over 700 nutritious meals and snacks. Its maintenance department staff keeps electrical, and medical devices and vans in working order. The center also offers program for Alzheimer's disease and rehabilitation, such as patient screening, restorative surgery, restraint reduction, seating and positioning, wound care, contracture management and employee wellness and education programs. Loacted in Orlando, Fla., Guardian Care Nursing and Rehab Center organizes various cultural, ethnic and religious events.
