Highlands County

The Information Technology department, a part of Highlands County Clerk of Courts, offers computing services to the Highlands County Board of County Commissioners in Florida. In addition, the department also provides financial application services to the sheriff, tax collector, property appraiser and supervisor of elections. It helps offer Highlands County citizens and government agencies access to databases and services. The Information Technology department provides the online scheduling of building inspections and code enforcement information. It also offers searchable access to recorded documents and court records through Web. The department implements mobile laptops for Code Enforcement and Building Departments inspectors and provides real-time access to data and services for mobile employees.
