Authentic German Food, Beer & Wine. Chef Hans Joachim moved to Florida in 2007 working hard to learn the language as he worked for several other restaurants and eateries. In 2012 he opened the Bavarian Haus Restaurant in Mount Dora Fl., and with its success Chef Hans has brought his love for German food and Florida salt air to the Fort Myers area. We refuse to compromise on quality in our restaurant, and look forward to serving you.

The German beer is cold and the food is deliciously amazing! I indulged in the generous portion of jagerschnitzel, red cabbage, spatzel, and German potato salad. It's as good as it is in Germany...

It was our first visit and we were very pleased. The German potato salad and bratwurst was wonderful. The pretzel with cheese sauce was outstanding. The apple strudel was very tasty.
