JD Thornton Nurseries

J.D. Thoronton Nurseries, Inc. is named after the founder who started in the horticulture industry in 1944. Since then it has become a family business that has expanded to over 140 acres of quality field grown trees. For over 50 years, JD Thornton Nurseries has practiced annual systematic root pruning on each tree within its 140 acres. Each tree also receives beneficial irrigation and fertilization. Each tree is hardened off and extra care is used to secure and package the root ball before shipping.
