Pizzo K-8 School

Pizzo Elementary School, founded in 1988, has an enrollment of more than 850 students in prekindergarten through grade five. It offers a variety of academic courses and is located in Tampa, Fla. The school also partners with the University of South Florida and provides staff development programs. Its facility features various computers, printers, scanners, digital cameras, smart boards, closed-circuit televisions, projectors and video recorders. Pizzo Elementary School also serves morning and afternoon meals that include a selection of entrees, snacks and beverages. Its counseling team provides an array of group and individual guidance lessons to promote personal and social development. The school s staff includes literacy coaches, media specialists, nurses, social workers, psychologists and academic intervention specialists.
