Shands at Agh Hospital

Shands AGH is a full-service nonprofit hospital that provides patient-driven health care services. Founded in 1928, the hospital has over 300 beds and specializes in heart and cancer care, women's health and emergency medicine services. It has a staff of more than 250 members representing 32 specialties. Shands AGH is affiliated with Planetree, which is a provider of aroma and music therapies, as well as physical, emotional and spiritual support services for patients. The hospital designs and conducts cardiac rehabilitation programs. Its intensive care unit offers treatment for patients suffering with serious illness and medical problems.
