The original Tarpoon (est. 1952 in Hialeah, FL) is still in business today , making it the oldest dive store in Florida. Both Tarpoon centers are still owned and run by the Kevorkian family and are now in their 3rd generation. We have over 57 years of dive business experience and sharing with others our love and passion for diving through eduction and outreach. Tarpoon Lagoon Dive Center is a full service PADI dive academy/school and retail store, offering dive gear equipment repair, and daily boat trips for divers and snorkelers. We are the oldest dive shop in the state of Florida, having opened since 1952. We are recognized internationally as a leader in all aspects of scuba diving education.
