North Central Health District
The North Central Health District provides health care programs and services. It serves residents of 13 county health districts, including Baldwin, Bibb, Crawford, Hancock and Houston. The center offers a range of services in the categories of infant follow up, HIV/AIDS, newborn screening, public health liaison, family planning, health check, nursing/pharmacy, cancer screening, environmental health and immunizations, among others. These services include violence/injury prevention, obesity nutrition, drug/disease information, pelvic examinations, Pap tests and more. The North Central Health District is part of the Georgia Department of Community Health.
