Pinnacle Physical Therapists are licensed health care professionals who can prevent physical injury and dysfunction, treat and reduce or eliminate pain and restore overall functional mobility after surgical interventions or non-surgical injuries. John Day, M.D., is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon at Pinnacle Orthopaedics specializing in general orthopaedics, sports medicine, and total joint replacement. He has expertise in joint replacement surgery, arthroscopic procedures, and fracture care. Dr. Day treats patients at Pinnacle’s Marietta and East Cobb locations and serves as the practice’s president. He is also a team physician for several local high schools and active in community sports.

William Dean Terrell, M.D., is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon at Pinnacle Orthopaedics, specializing in general orthopaedics, trauma, and limb lengthening and deformity repair. He practices at Pinnacle Orthopaedics' Marietta office. Dr. Terrell completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at The Hughston Clinic in Columbus, Georgia, and a minor fellowship in AO Trauma with Dr. Harald Tscherne in Hanover, Germany. He has advanced training in limb length and deformity correction, having traveled to the Ilizarov Institute in Kurgan, Siberia. Dr. Terrell has contributed to the design of hindfoot nails and computerized hex frames and performed pioneering procedures with Precice and Fitbone lengthening nails.
