Elbert County High School

Doves Creek Elementary School is affiliated with the Elbert County School District, a K-12 school district, with more than seven schools. Located in Elberton, Ga., the school offers classes from grades kindergarten through five. Its curriculum includes English, language arts, math, science, social studies, music, fine arts, computer technology and physical education. It has a parent-teacher association that involves parents in various educational activities of the school. It organizes various events, such as fund-raisers, theater productions and field trips. It also offers a variety of sports activities, including football, volleyball, basketball, soccer, softball, tennis, and track and field. Additionally, the school provides cafeteria service to its students.

W.R. Coile Middle School, established in 1995, offers educational instruction to students in grades six through eight. The school has an enrollment of more than 600 students and is a part of the Clarke County School District. Its Connections courses introduce students to a variety of skill-building subjects, including computer science, technology, consumer science, research and product development and drama. It offers year-long classes in band and chorus. The school features three computer labs, four wireless laptop carts and Internet access in every classroom. Its three out of four students are involved in a musical performing group. The school offers sports programs to boys and girls in football, basketball, volleyball and soccer. W.R.
