We are a family owned and operated. Our recipes originate from Oaxaca, Mexico and have been passed down from generation to generation; and now we are passionate about bring our bold flavors to the Atlanta area. What makes us unique is our way of cooking and authenticity. Our dishes are prepared just like our mother would prepare them back in Oaxaca, authentic, flavorful, and colorful.

I really should think of La Mixteca regularly instead of just at the holidays. TAMALES! And they are done right!! I am looking forward to my next visit. Which will be very soon.

Food was great! I love how vegan friendly it is! I got the veggie burrito and throughly enjoyed it. Their verde sauce needs to be bottled and sold!
