Lumber Transport, Inc (LTI) is a closely held, private corporation headquartered in in CochranGA, a small town located 40 miles southeast of Macon, GA. We have 48 state common and contract authority transporting general commodities on flatbeds and vans mainly in the Southeastern, Southwestern & Midwestern portion of the United States. Our beginning stems back to 1961 when LTI was incorporated under Georgia state law and was solely owned and operated by the late Mr. Leroy Hamrick. Today, the company continues to be family owned under the direction of Buddy and Linda Hamrick. They both remain directly involved in the day-to-day operations and management of the company. In 1986, the Hamrick's expanded into a new area of the transportation business opening their first warehouse operation in Savannah, GA consisting of 255, 000 sq. feet of storage space and years later opening another warehouse facility consisting of 100, 000 sq. feet of storage space. Both warehouses are custom designed and engineered for maximum efficiency, including overhead cranes, an assortment of forklift, drive-through and rear loading/unloading capabilities. Lumber Transport became well known in the trucking industry as a result of the company's strength, integrity and solvency throughout the years. Our mission to provide trucking and warehousing services built on solid relationships with quality and dedicated service remains today.

Headquartered in Sandersville, Ga., Howard Sheppard offers contract and truckload services for kaolin, carbonates and nonhazardous chemicals. Founded in 1943, the company is a family-owned business that maintains a work force of more than 400 employees. Howard Sheppard has several office, maintenance and fuel facilities. The company maintains a work force of over 150 dump trucks. Howard Sheppard provides transportation services for its customers shipping liquid, dry bulk, bagged and general van commodities. The company also has a nearly 25,000 square feet of warehouse facility that is used to store and stage loads. Howard Sheppard maintains a location in Jeffersonville, Ga.
