History

I've been a private practice therapist and counselor in the Dunwoody area of Atlanta since 2013. In January of 2015 I moved to a new location in the Poncey Highlands neighborhood of Atlanta at 675 Seminole Ave, Atlanta, GA 30307. In addition to private practice work I also have experience working in hospital outpatient settings. Group work is an important part of the outpatient care and I continue to give time as a group leader to a local program.

Specialties

I provide therapy and counseling to individuals to promote growth and development. A natural part of life is transition, some change is more difficult and requires greater attention and care. Through better understanding of peoples lives and struggles, I collaborate with clients to shape the proper therapeutic style and direction to increase day-to-day functioning and enjoyment of life. Areas of particular focus are depression, anxiety, grief, work stress, relationship issues, chronic pain, and trauma.
