History

As a sister-restaurant to Ember Farm to Fire, proprietor, Tyler Roberson, and Chef Mary Schowe were inspired to bring unique Mexican inspired flavors to St. Simons Island. Their admiration of Tequila is what brought this idea to life. With a selection of over 50 tequilas and mezcals in house, making ours the largest selection in Glynn County, Mixologist Ansley Neidhardt was recruited to help our guests find their perfect sip. Thus- Mas was born.

Specialties

MAS is a taco and tequila bar open from 4:30-11 or later Tuesday - Saturday. We serve fresh, unique Mexican foods inspired by the flavors of the street vendors and food trucks of Mexico City. With 50+ tequilas and mezcals, we offer the largest selection of agave spirits in Glynn County. In addition to the extensive tequila and mezcal selection, we offer a unique wine list, beer, and cocktails inspired by the flavors of Mexico.

You can do better on the island for food. If you like tequila drinks, this place will work for you, but the food is less then impressive. The Mas Arita (margarita) was fine, but nothing over the...
