Northgate High School

Located in Newnan, Ga., Northgate High School is a college preparatory school offering academic career and technical courses to students in grades nine through 12. It offers various scholastic choices, such as college preparatory course with distinction, career and technical course with distinction. It also offers dual diploma options in various subjects, including English, math, science, social studies, business education and family and consumer science. It additionally offers various programs, such as Burwell Program, driver s education and health and physical education. The athletic programs offered by the school includes football, volleyball, softball, cross country, basketball, soccer, wrestling, baseball tennis, golf, cheerleading, swimming, and track and field. It also offers honorary groups, clubs and associations, such as an academic bowl, the National Honor Society, drama, thespian, photography, astronomy, chess, media and reading clubs. It is a member of the Coweta County School System and approved by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Georgia Department of Education.
