The purpose of Vidalia Heritage Academy is (1 ) t o provide for young people the development of character and academic excellence from a Christian perspective in a Christian environment, and (2 ) to provide through a Christian world view, the molding of the spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social, physical, and moral being of each student (Luke 2: 52 ). It is the mission of Vidalia Heritage Academy to equip students spiritually, intellectually, and physically to love God and serve Him as Christ's ambassadors in the world.

J. D. Dickerson Primary School is an educational institution that provides academic classes and extracurricular activities to more than 400 students in pre-kindergarten through grade two. It supports various activities, including art, music and physical education. The school operates a computer laboratory. It offers an accelerated reader program that is used to monitor and guide reading practices and help students in improving reading abilities. J. D. Dickerson Primary School operates a library and media center that provides a collection of books and Internet access. Vidalia High School is a public school that provides college preparatory education to students in grades nine through 12. The high school is located in Vidalia, Ga., and enrolls more than 650 students. Its curriculum includes English, language arts, mathematics, geography, history, science, social studies, and foreign languages with a choice in Spanish and French. Additionally, the school organizes various extracurricular activities, such as art and crafts, chorus, band and drama, and offers physical education. Vidalia High School also offers academic guidance and SAT preparation classes. It additionally offers various student clubs and organizations, such as beta club and the Future Business Leaders of America. The high school also provides various sports activities, such as football, softball, basketball, baseball, golf and tennis. The school is a part of Vidalia City Schools.
