The U.S. Health Care Financing Administration designated it as a rural referral center, and it is a member of the LaGrange Troup County Chamber of Commerce. West Georgia Health System employs a work force of more than 1,400 full-time staff members who offer numerous health screenings, informative classes and support groups every month.

Working at Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) fulfills Dr. John Schuler's desire to make patients the No. 1 priority. Schuler is a Continuity of Care Physician, Family Medicine at CTCA Atlanta. He joined the hospital in August 2013. Dr. Schuler has certifications from the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Heart Association. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice and the Georgia Academy of Family Practice. Dr. Schuler has a long-held interest in sleep medicine, attending numerous conferences and interpreting research over the past several years.
