Pinehurst Baptist Church offers weekly Sunday school and worship services. Based in Columbus, Ga., the church's Sunday services include Bible study, morning/evening worship services and discipleship training, among others. It is also involved in a variety of ministries for children, singles, seniors, students and adults. In addition, the church offers a corporate outlet for praise and worship sessions. Pinehurst Baptist Church has affiliations with the Columbus Baptist Association, the Georgia Baptist Convention, the Southern Baptist Convention and The Christian Index.

Established 1968, The Lakeside School is a coeducational, independent institution that serves students in preschool through grade 12. The school conducts classes in English, language arts, math, science and social studies. The Lakeside School also provides educational instruction in Spanish, computer applications, journalism, business studies and art. The school conducts various athletic events that include football, basketball, softball, baseball, tennis and cheerleading. In addition, it organizes various enrichment activities, such as Christmas celebrations, environmental workshops, field trips and sessions by guest speakers. Its facilities include a computer center, library, science laboratory, cafeteria, playground and classrooms. The Lakeside School is located in Eufaula, Ala.
