Atlanta Area School for Deaf is a state-funded residential school that provides educational programs for hearing impaired and multihandicapped hearing impaired students. Atlanta Area School for Deaf serves students from preschool through high school. In addition, it provides a state-wide, home-based, early intervention program that serves children of up to 5 years. The school also offers a comprehensive diagnostic and evaluation center.
