Wallace Barbecue, located in Austell, Georgia, has been a staple of the Metro Atlanta community since its establishment in 1966. Specializing in pit-cooked beef and pork barbecue, the restaurant also offers a variety of Southern-style dishes, including Brunswick stew, ribs, chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers, and steaks.
Originally founded by Gerald Wallace, the restaurant was later taken over by his sister Martha Taylor and her husband Mickey in 1972. In 1988, a new location was built down the street from the original site, where Wallace Barbecue continues to serve its loyal customers today.
