The community mental health center of Waianae, Hawaii is a private non-profit corporation created by the people of the Waianae Coast in Hawaii to meet the needs of it s residents. Hale Na`au Pono, a Hawaiian name interpreted as 'The House for Inner Balance', provides culturally and socially sensitive, community-based, behavioral health services for children and adults. The center covers a range of mental health needs including substance abuse and therapeutic foster care. Certified substance abuse counselors supervise the Quality Assured Treatment staff. Prevention programs are based on strategies from the National Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP). Support for both treatment and prevention programs come from the State Department of Health and the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division.

Integrated Health Hawaii (IHH) is committed to enhancing the capabilities of independent physicians by providing essential support designed to create a value-based comprehensive network of care. By bridging gaps between various systems of care, IHH aims to improve access to social services, educational resources, and medical and behavioral healthcare through effective care coordination. Funded by state and federal grants, IHH focuses on helping the people of Hawaii achieve optimal health through Collaborative Care. Care Coordinators, who are trained to engage patients and assess their needs, work closely with patients and their families to address barriers to care, connect them with healthcare specialists, and facilitate the delivery of necessary services.
