Galena Lodge is a community owned day lodge 23 miles North of the Ketchum/Sun Valley area. Based at 7300 feet at the base of the Boulder Mountains, Galena Lodge is a hidden gem. Summer time at Galena features lunches daily, brunch on the weekends, wagon ride bbq dinners, horseback riding, kids camp, weddings, bike rides, guided bike tours, hiking and more. In winter, Galena turns into one of the premiere Nordic ski areas in the country with over 50km of groomed trails and 25km of snowshoe trails. Nordic and snowshoe lessons are available daily. Galena rents out 3 backcountry yurts as well.

Compared to the last ten years, soups have dropped in quality, service not up to past standards, and management appears non responsive to customer issues.

We always make sure to make the drive out when we're in the area. The scenery can't be beat and the food is fantastic. We took the kids on the Lodge Loop with the storybook pages and it kept them...
