Graduates in Manufacturing Engineering Technology work closely with engineers and scientists to create cost-effective solutions to manufacture a wide range of products, taking each design from initial creation to a finished project.

The BYUIdaho Department of Mechanical and Civil Engineering program at BYUIdaho helps students develop the knowledge and skills to do extraordinary things. Students are taught in a wholesome and engaging environment by faculty who are focused on teaching and mentoring students. Graduates of the programs are ready to use their knowledge and experience to contribute in driving economic progress in the world, and to help make it a better place.

The BYUIdaho Welding Engineering Technology Program includes the degrees for: Advanced Vehicle Systems, Automotive Engineering Technology, Automotive Technology Management, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Welding and Fabrication Technology, and Welding Engineering Technology.
