History

Panhandle Spray Service was started by Robert Gagner back in 1997. He was, and still is, an amazing agricultural specialist. The business switched ownership in 2014 to Matthew Mayo who learned everything first hand from Bob. In 2017 John, my husband, and I purchased Panhandle from Matt. The biggest blessing about this small business is that we still are very hands-on with both of the previous owners. They are not only amazing mentors but great friends. In 2016 John and I bought acreage in Athol, Idaho and realized the importance of keeping the noxious weeds out of our fields. We work very closely with Kootenai County Noxious Weed Department and are very motivated to continue the growth of this company in our area. We are both passionate about keeping Idaho beautiful and love where we live! John has lived in North Idaho his entire life and I have been here since I was a child. We are expecting our first little one at the start of this 2018 season!

Panhandle is one of the few noxious weed control providers in North Idaho. We have been serving our community since 1997 and have had the privilege of helping keep our beautiful community- BEAUTIFUL! Our goal is to continue this by combating noxious weeds that try and take over our roads, properties and pastures. We are locally owned and operated. The work we do is based on our core values.
