The Post Falls Police Department provides crime prevention and law enforcement service to the citizens of Post Falls, Idaho. Its divisions include administration, detectives, communications and patrol. The department s services include disturbance suppression, accident investigation, traffic law enforcement, response to help calls, prevention of violations of statutes and ordinances, and patrolling of residential and business areas. The Post Falls Police Department also investigates criminal offenses, makes arrests, files criminal cases, recovers stolen property, and records and stores confiscated properties. The department also investigates juvenile cases. Its communications division provides pet licensing and bicycle registration services. The department also offers shelter, medical, court and prosecution assistance to the crime victims.
