Incorporated in 1988, Certified Heat Treating provides metallurgical and process consulting services. Located in Peoria, Ill., the company renders an array of services, such as straightening, shot blasting, rust preventative, bead blasting as well as metallurgical and process consulting. It offers carbonitriding, selective carburizing, normalizing, annealing, solutionizing and carburizing, to name a few. In addition, the company provides water quench systems. It offers fixturing, special racking, inspection and lab analysis. Certified Heat Treating has certifications from ISO/QS 9000.

Kirby Risk Electrical Supply, an operating division of Kirby Risk, provides electrical, automation, lighting and power distribution solutions. Based in Peoria, Ill., it offers a range of products, consisting of boxes, covers, conduit, fittings, motion control, lamps, cable trays, wire duct, ballasts and lighting hardware, to name a few. In addition, it provides power motors, belts, bearings, safety controls, signaling devices, test equipment, batteries, wires, cables, portable cords and wiring devices. Established in 1926, Kirby Risk also holds others divisions: Kirby Risk Service Center; Kirby Risk Mechanical Solutions and Service; and Kirby Risk Precision Machining. It operates nearly 38 electrical supply locations throughout Indiana, Illinois and Ohio.

Founded in 1889, the Keystone Steel & Wire Company began in a humble shed on a rented farm in Dillon, Ill. It has become one of the leading construction wire, industrial wire and steel rod producers in the Midwest. Keystone Steel & Wire Company s first product was a wire fence. Dipped in red paint, the Red Brand fence began selling throughout Illinois in the 1920s. It opened modern production facilities in 1988 and moved to Bartonville, Ill. Keystone Steel & Wire Company s campus in Bartonville is one of the largest wire mills in the United States with more than 2 million square feet of manufacturing space spread out through hundreds of acres. In 1998, the company produced nearly 650,000 tons of steel. It ships its products via truck, rail and barge throughout the United States. Keystone Steel & Wire maintains corporate headquarters in Peoria, Ill.
