Mackenzie Bowers is an advanced practice practitioner specializing in gastroenterology at Decatur Memorial Medical Group. She graduated from the family nurse practitioner program at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with a doctor of nursing practice degree after earning a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the Mennonite College of Nursing at Illinois State University. Prior to joining DMMG, she worked as an advanced practice registered nurse in gastroenterology at Springfield Clinic and was a hematology/oncology charge nurse at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Cassie Briggs is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse at Memorial Specialty Care Gastroenterology. She received her Family Nurse Practitioner certificate from from Maryville University in St. Louis, MO in 2020, as well as her Master of Science in Nursing, Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, also from Maryville University, in 2019. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2014 from Millikin University in Decatur, Ill.
