Dr. Michael Sheedy graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in biological sciences and chemistry from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Following one year of graduate studies in anatomy and physiology at SIU, Dr. Sheedy completed his medical degree at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, where he also completed the family and community medicine residency program in July of 1998. He is board certified in family medicine. Dr. Sheedy has a special interest in sports-related injuries.
