First Baptist Church

Faith Christian School, located in Lafayette, Ind., provides students educational opportunities in grades prekindergarten through 12, and enrolls more than 800 children. As a ministry of Faith Baptist Church it combines its educational program with religious instruction, and assists parents in training their children both academically and spiritually in order to serve effectively in their home, church, and community. Established in 1997, its elementary school program covers a wide range of subjects and experiences that help prepare a child for success. It introduces reading through a fun, hands-on activity and mathematics and the other subjects are also taught through hands-on and teacher-directed activities. It provides a comprehensive educational program, including core subjects, such as mathematics, language arts, social studies, and science, in junior and high school. Faith Christian School also offers a wide variety of extracurricular activities.

At St. John Lutheran Church and School, we believe that the Bible is the inerrant word of God that teaches the good news of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ for the sins of the world. We do not make up our own teachings, but teach the ancient, precious truths that God has given us in Bible. The core of what we believe and teach can be summed up in the words of the Apostles Creed, which Christians have confessed since as early as 150 A.D.
