Dr. Melissa Wilke attained a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from McGill University in Montreal, Canada in 1998 and then pursued her Chiropractic career at the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL. In 1999 she received her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and graduated with her Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2001. Dr. Wilke earned her certificate for Acupuncture in 2009. Dr. Wilke is passionate about educating her patients about healthy lifestyle choices and the importance of nutrition and exercise. She incorporates effective Chiropractic treatments with specific focus on the rehabilitation of injured joints, muscles, tendons and ligaments, along with coordination and retraining of the nervous system. She also utilizes state of the art Acupuncture to further help her patients achieve the results they deserve and want. Dr. Wilke is an athlete herself and loves working with athletes of all levels. She understands athletic injuries and setbacks and does her best to keep you in sport and active while undergoing treatment. Dr. Wilke has a varied practice helping patients with pain, pregnancy issues, fertility issues, vehicle accidents, injuries, just to name a few.
