HistoryEdwin's Roadhouse a.k.a. Miami Gardens was launched in 1929 as an illegal speakeasy during the prohibition era. It was an Al Capone establishment managed by Henry A. Baumann. Much of the interior remains intact. Today the business is called Edwin's Roadhouse within which you will find a cozy local bar with pool table and gaming, plus Gangster Hall where Al would take his meals in a private booth.SpecialtiesMiami Gardens was built in 1929 as an Al Capone speakeasy during the prohibition era. Today Edwin's Roadhouse a.k.a Miami Gardens serves hundreds of thirsty customers. Gangster Hall contains many old photographs and miniature Tommy guns and there are many original artifacts including the first cash register from NCR, wall mirrors, ornate metal ceilings, wooden floors and more. This is where Al Capone used to dine and entertain. Inside the bar you will find a friendly crowd and a pool room with billiard table and legal gaming machines. You can watch sports on TV or enjoy pleasant conversations with your friends.
