John G. Conyers Learning Academy is a learning center that specializes in general academic and special education programs for children in the age group from 3 to 5 years. The center offers early intervention and early childhood special education programs for children with learning disabilities. It provides occupational, physical, speech and language therapies. Its staff includes a nurse, psychologist, social worker and speech pathologist. John G. Conyers Learning Academy s general academic curriculum features English, math and science. The center also conducts Spanish language classes. In addition, it serves students with behavioral disorders in kindergarten through grade eight. It provides a range of services that includes guidance counseling, food, transportation and medical care. The center organizes special programs that include book fairs and health and vision screenings. Located in Rolling Meadows, Ill., John G.
