Regent Broadcasting of Peoria is a subsidiary Regent Communications, which is one of the leading holding companies in the radio broadcasting business. Regent Communications was incorporated in Delaware in 1996 to acquire, develop and operate radio properties in small and medium radio markets. The company owns and operates more than 60 stations in over 10 markets in Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, New York and Texas. Its stations air music, promotes concerts, and provides political, sports and local news.
