Lewiston Central Elementary School
Located in Lewistown, Ill., Lewistown Elementary School offers a range of educational programs to more than 250 students in pre-kindergarten through grade three. Its syllabus includes science, social studies, special education, English, mathematics, and reading, writing and phonics. The school conducts classes in computer applications, physical education and music. The school also maintains reading centers, as well as a library and media center that features a collection of books and instructional materials. Lewistown Elementary School is a part of Lewistown CUSD 97, which additionally governs a central school and serves more than 760 students. The district s schools organize a range of athletic activities that includes football, basketball, and track and field.
