Meridian Primary School

Meridian High School is a part of Meridian Community Unit School District 15, which governs various primary, middle, intermediate and high schools. Located in Macon, Ill., Meridian High School offers a range of academic and extracurricular options to more than 330 students in grades 9 through 12. Its syllabus includes English, mathematics, natural science, social studies, and health and physical education. The school also offers various sports programs, including basketball, baseball, football, soccer, golf, cheerleading, volleyball, softball, and track and field. It supports the National Honor Society, as well as operates a student council, band, chorus and drama club. The school operates guidance and special education departments, as well as maintains a library and cafeteria.

The Pershing Early Learning Center offers a range of educational and extracurricular programs for children in pre-kindergarten. It provides an at-risk program that includes skills training for students in the areas of gross and fine motor, social development and general school readiness. The center offers a variety speech, language, physical and occupational therapy services. The Pershing Early Learning Center administers various early childhood special education programs. It provides a prevention initiative program that features parenting skills classes for families with children. The center conducts a range of music, library and Physical education programs. Additionally, it organizes several field trips, assemblies, games and coloring activities. The Pershing Early Learning Center is located in Decatur, Ill.
