Gilster-Mary Lee Corporation is a leading private label food manufacturer, headquartered in Chester, Ill., a small, southern Illinois town located on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River. Gilster-Mary Lee produces more than 8,000 items in over 500 different private label brands, as well as its own Hospitality label. Approximately 3,000 employees work in 14 different manufacturing facilities across four states. The company-owned truck fleet delivers products daily throughout the United States and Canada, as well as shipments destined for markets throughout the world. Glister-Mary Lee's popcorn and cereal plants and distribution Center are located in McBride, Mo. The McBride plant manufactures microwave popcorn products and breakfast cereals. This facility also serves as Gilster-Mary Lee's main distribution center. The total complex is 500,000 square feet.
