Dr. John Rinker, DO, has been a leading family medicine practitioner for more than 33 years. While large corporations now run many medical practices, Dr. Rinker proudly owns and operates his family medicine clinic in Pontiac, Illinois. Dr. Rinker is passionate about the doctor-patient relationship and never rushes through appointments. He takes the time to get to know each patient personally and works diligently to treat the underlying cause of every condition. Unlike large practices where patients may see any provider, Dr. Rinker meets with each patient who visits the clinic.Dr. Rinker is a 1985 graduate of the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University. At his practice, he specializes in family and emergency medicine. Board-certified in family medicine and osteopathic manipulative therapy, he's affiliated with several hospitals, including St. Margarets Hospital, St. Josephs Medical Center, and St. James Hospital.In addition to family medicine, Dr. Rinker has served as a hospitalist, a hospice medical director, and an emergency room physician. He has diverse experience with annual physicals, well-child check-ups, immunizations, DOT physicals, urgent care, and chronic disease management. He also provides skin rejuvenation, lab services, womens health services, and allergy management.
