After about two years, I realized I wanted to go into a profession that used my interest in science in way I could help people more directly, so I changed my major to pre-med."My rotations in medical school made it clear to me that people struggled the most with some emotional component of their lives -- even with physical illness -- so I started my journey into a field that involves helping others come to terms with the emotional challenges of life."
