History

Courtney Himes (owner and lead hair and makeup artist) has been working in the beauty industry for seven years and has always had a love for hair styling and makeup artistry. Courtney attended Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy in Dallas, Texas. Upon graduating she moved to Indianapolis and has now been a stylist at Secrets Hair and Nail Design in Carmel, Indiana for nearly six years and values the relationships she has built with her fellow stylists and wonderful clients. Courtney loves to learn the latest trends and techniques in the beauty industry and expressing her creativity through custom cut, color and makeup application. Emily Dykes attended cosmetology school and graduated in January 2011 from Aveda Institute where she learned mens and women's cuts and colors, nails, waxing and makeup artistry. Currently she works at Gentspa in downtown Indianapolis. She loves every facet of the industry, especially women's cuts and providing easy, helpful styling tips.
