Since 1993, PRF has grown the Purdue Research Park into a model for other technology parks around the state of Indiana. The Conservation Technology Information Center (CTIC) is dedicated to promoting, supporting, and providing information on conservation technologies and sustainable agricultural systems. By connecting farmers, universities, government, and businesses, CTIC fosters coalitions that champion economic and environmentally sustainable farming practices. Through initiatives like the Operational Tillage Information System (OpTIS), CTIC offers valuable insights into cover crop adoption and tillage practices using satellite imagery and advanced algorithms. In addition, the organization leads various projects addressing pressing agricultural conservation needs, ensuring that new technologies and tools are both viable and beneficial for the environment.
