Dr. Michelle Shelly wants patients to know that their care comes first, no matter what it takes. She’s willing to go the extra mile in order for her patients to be happy and healthy, which is why she’s gone above and beyond what’s expected. She’s trained in acupuncture, has a special interest in managing diabetes, and has added no-needle, no-scalpel vasectomies to her procedures. Not only has she brought her expertise to the Michiana community, but she’s also brought care abroad during numerous international mission trips. “I want patients to go home knowing that I listened well and was thorough,” Dr. Shelly said. “When I’m working with a patient, I want them to feel like it’s a partnership of looking at options, and that they have a say in their treatment.” This is Dr. Shelly’s main prerogative- to create a team environment and break down barriers to care. For this reason, she speaks Spanish to better reach our community. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and biking.
