Crossroad is a nonprofit treatment center for emotionally troubled youth. Its residential treatment include secure care, diagnostic evaluation, staff secure and transitional and independent living. It offers diagnostic evaluation of the child s needs and outline treatment options. Its transitional and independent living programs allow residents to focus on education and job skills. It also has a Crossroad School that provides day education. It offers individual, family and group therapies, and educational and recreational opportunities for participants and their families. It offers day treatment, including therapy and educational services for children living at home. The center also provides services, such as home-based family and after-care counseling. It arranges foster homes for young people leaving Crossroad s residential program. Its work force includes counselors, teachers, therapists, housekeepers, cooks, groundskeepers, chaplains and nurses.
