Tippecanoe County Courthouse

The Clerk's office is governed by Tippecanoe County in Indiana. The office is responsible for receiving and disbursing court-ordered child support payments. It files court cases, foreign judgments and uniform conflict of interest disclosure statements. The Clerk's office also provides notary public applications and certifies that notaries are registered. The office issues marriage licenses for the county residents and nonresidents who plan to get married in Tippecanoe County. In addition, it collects judgments and fines and forwards them to appropriate parties. The Clerk's office receives payments for tickets issued by the Tippecanoe County Sheriff's Department and the Lafayette Police Department.
