Alan Shepard Elementary

Lourdes Catholic School is an elementary school that serves students in kindergarten through grade eight. The school has a computer laboratory, library, playground and gymnasium. Its students participate in mathematics and literary contests, safety programs, and parent-supervised scouting and sporting programs that include volleyball, basketball and cheerleading. Lourdes Catholic School also offers several extracurricular activities, including school newspaper, choir, band, mock trial, student council, Math Counts, and chess, science, recorder and drama clubs. Willard Elementary School is a part of Moline School District No 40. Based in Moline, Ill., the elementary school is a learning academy for students ranging from kindergarten up to grade 6. Presently, the school has a total student body of nearly 255 children. It has involved parent's group, Willard Parent-Teacher Organization offering various family activities. The school also offers academic programs as well as extracurricular activities that include arts, vocal music, instrumental music, physical education and library science. Besides, the school offers an after-school program for student counseling.
