Columbus Middle School in cooperation with parents and the community members provides a learning environment that encourages the intellectual, physical, emotional and social development of each student. Its curriculum includes art, math, science, consumer science, and agricultural and physical education. The school also offers instructional classes in band, choir and drama. Columbus Middle School provides a variety of athletic activities, such as volleyball, basketball, track and field, softball and baseball.
