Friendship Village is retirement community for individuals aged 60 and above, and is located in Waterloo, Iowa. It has more than 400 senior citizens utilizing living in over 300 apartments and cottages. It offers facilities, including common areas, a chapel, grounds and an on-site health center. It provides services, such as laundry, window washing, snow removal, maintenance of the buildings and grounds, and shuttle bus service for shopping, professional appointments, worship services and entertainment. It also has barbershop and woodworking shop, and activity and exercise rooms. It provides one meal daily in the central dining area. It offers activities, such as woodworking, billiards, painting, crafts and shuffleboard. The apartments have facilities of a kitchen, bathroom, heating and air conditioning, closet space and smoke- and fire-detection system. The emergency call signals are linked to the health center.
