North Union High School

North Kossuth High School provides a range of educational and extracurricular programs for students in grades 9 through grade 12. Its academic curriculum includes classes in a variety of subjects, such as mathematics, English, science, business and agriculture education, reading, chemistry, geography and industrial technology. The school also offers instrumental and vocal music, health, art, and physical and special education programs. North Kossuth High School maintains a library that offers a range of books and reference materials. It administers a guidance and counseling program that features skill development services related to academic planning, career education, goal setting, decision making, anger management, substance abuse, conflict resolution and violence prevention. The school participates in a range of sports activities, such as football, softball, golf, baseball, basketball, wrestling, volleyball, cheerleading, and track and field. The Sentral Community School District is an educational institute that serves students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12. The district manages elementary and high schools. Its schools offer classes in a selection of subjects, such as language arts, science and math, as well as opportunities to participate in basketball events. The Sentral Community School District also administers special education and Title I programs. The district manages North Kossuth Elementary and North Sentral Kossuth High School. In addition, its schools operate libraries and student councils. The Sentral Community School District offers food and guidance counseling solutions, as well as publishes Eagle Beacon, which is a newspaper that covers events in athletics and activities.

Fairmont Junior-Senior High School serves students through its academic and athletic programs. It is accredited by the North Central Association and Minnesota State Department of Education and is affiliated with the International Baccalaureate Program. Its faculty works on developing and improving curriculum, assessments and instructional strategies based on current educational and learning research. It is also one of the 12 schools in Minnesota offering the International Baccalaureate curriculum to students and courses aligned to offer postsecondary credit through its career and technical educational program. It provides students a wide variety of activities, athletics and academic opportunities of a well-rounded high school career. To communicate with students and parents, the school uses the Skyward Family Access System, which is a Web-based program that allows access to the student s school records at anytime from a computer.
