Specifically, Merit handles Employee Benefits, Workers' Compensation and Risk Management, Payroll and Payroll Tax Administration, and Human Resources activities and responsibilities. By outsourcing these areas to Merit, its clients are able to cut their costs, save many hours of their time and shift much of the liability of employment to Merit.
