Established in 1889, the Searle Petroleum Company is a division of the Red Giant Oil Company. It provides a wide variety of petroleum products to industrial accounts, as well as America s railroads. The Searle Petroleum Company is one of the largest independent producers of locomotive engine oil in North America. It offers motor, hydraulic, gear, food grade and locomotive engine oils. It also provides greases, residual fuels and handling equipment, such as tanks, pumps, reels and hoses. Located in Council Bluffs, Iowa, it offers cradle to grave services. It operates a fleet of several tractors and tank trailers for new and used oil transportation. The Searle Petroleum Company has been reclaiming used oil for over 30 years. It is an EPA-registered transporter and storage facility for used oil. It processes used oil and offers it as residual fuel to asphalt companies and industrial plants.
