John Deere Davenport Works is an operating unit of Deere & Company that manufactures construction and forestry equipment. The division began production in 1974. It produces dump trucks, four-wheel drive loaders, graders, log skidders and cabs. John Deere Davenport Works creates construction equipment used in road building, underground utilities, site development and residential construction. The division also makes products for material handling, road repair and maintenance. Its forestry equipment is employed in full-tree and cut-to-length harvesting operations. John Deere construction and forestry products are distributed through a network of more than 600 dealer locations worldwide. John Deere Davenport Works is located in Davenport, Iowa.
